It took us a few years, and a bit of navigating through Covid to perfect our formulas, using the best ingredients, to bring you the best dairy-free gelato you’ll ever experience.

Russ Bailey
The inspiration for Sorbailee’s unique flavor and texture comes from Russ’s childhood in Italy, as an Air Force kid, and his Southern roots.
With a love of expression through culinary art and his family’s desire for a healthier lifestyle, in 2018, Russ began learning to make dairy-free gelato.
By 2024, he perfected the blending of his Southern culinary lessons taught by his mother and grandmother, coupled with expert training from Italian gelato chefs, Russ cultivated Sorbailee’s unique flavors and distinct texture profile.
A former youth sports coach and basketball skill development trainer with over 35 years of civilian service with the Dept. of Defense, Chef Russ is fun-loving and enjoys watching his culinary creations bring a smile to the faces of those he serves.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and attending sporting events. With a lifelong love for football, basketball, and soccer, his favorite teams are the Cincinnati Bengals, Bearcats, and FC Cincinnati.

As the CEO of Sorbailee, Anisha manages the overall direction of the company and its growth strategy. Extremely family oriented, Sorbailee fulfills her longtime deep desire to build a business with her family, saying, “Sorbailee was the sweetest way to do it!”

Creator of the CentsableCEO, Anisha double majored in marketing and accounting in undergrad, and earned a Master’s in Executive Leadership. She brings over 16 years of experience in tax law and business advisory as the founder of Taxley, a tax consulting firm she launched after leaving her corporate tax career in 2008.
When Anisha isn’t running Sorbailee or coaching aspiring entrepreneurs, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, trying new foods, meeting new people, and relaxing poolside at home on a nice sunny day.

Aaren, an Air Force Veteran, leads our marketing and strategic partnerships efforts, as well as our Gelato for GIs initiative.
As the Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Aaren blends his tech and communication savvy to guide and help implement our online and offline marketing and branding strategies.
As an Air Force Veteran, he works to build strategic partnerships with the USO, military personnel, and our sponsors to ensure the Gelato for GIs initiative is impactful.
With a love for music and trained in full-stack production, Aaren spends his free time producing music for aspiring artists, making his own music, gaming, traveling, and spending time with family.
